The format for this tournament will be a Two Man best ball format. The number and breakpoints of the flights will be based on participation and actual scores the day of the event.

We thought this would be a fun format and something new for the golfers other than the usual 4 man scramble.

How does best ball work?

Best Ball is also a team format.  All golfers play their own ball for the entire hole.  After each hole, the team records the lowest score out of their team members.   Play continues in this fashion for the entire 18 holes. The final score that is recorded is the lowest, hole-by-hole scores from the combination of the team.  This format can be used with 2, 3, 4, or 5 players.
