Chip-In For Charity is being organized by a group of eight individuals from the 2008 class of Leadership Menomonee Falls.When we were assigned a group project as part of the course curriculum we chose to coordinate a fundraiser for a local organization in an effort to impact our community.

In the summer time, as holiday donations begin to run out and schools are out of session, demand increases sharply. Around 12% of the children in the Menomonee Falls School District are currently receiving subsidized lunch. It surprised us to see that the need was so close to home. We want to help make a difference in the lives of families in need our community.

Along with sponsorships and event participation we hope to raise in excess of $10,000 for the Menomonee Falls Food Pantry.
